Dr Delwyn Carpenter B.Mus, DipEd., B.A. (Hons), D.Psych, MAPS
Delwyn provides services for adults, young adults (18-25 years) and adolescents (15 -17 years).
Delwyn is a clinical psychologist and a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS) and the APS College of Clinical Psychologists. Trained as a Cognitive-Behaviour Therapist (CBT), Delwyn draws from a range of therapy models in addition to CBT including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) Mindfulness, Interpersonal Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Psychodynamic therapy to meet the individual needs of each client.
Delwyn has significant experience in assessing and treating depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders including OCD, panic and social anxiety. She also has special interest in working with women, their partners and their infants in the postnatal period. As a trained musician, Delwyn also enjoys working with individuals who have social or performance anxiety in social or work settings, and performing artists with performance anxiety, career and lifestyle issues.
